Mission and Vision

The world of globalization and postmodernity poses new challenges to which everyone involved in knowledge production has yet to respond. Intellectuals lost their decisive places as judges of knowledge and were left disconnected from one another in the overconnected reality. Democracy, human rights, and principles of peaceful co-existence are questioned by populists of sorts. The full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine only made these complex challenges explicit.

We are here to create an open intellectual environment for dialogue and think of large questions that address today’s challenges. We look forward to sharing the ideas and thoughts that nuance, question, and broaden the existing views in the humanities and social sciences. We believe that sustained academic work and its spread to the general public is essential for finding stability in our totally unstable world.
